EMI FAMILY 4 JAPAN

Over 200 artists and songwriters, including Katy Perry, The Beatles, David Bowie, The Beach Boys, and Sting, donated exclusive personal items, memorabilia, and experiences in support of the EMI family auction benefiting the people affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan through the efforts of the British Red Cross. The auction contained over 250 items and was heavily promoted on eBay U.S. and U.K. With every EMI office around the world participating in this vast fundraising effort, the auction raised over $460,000 with millions of impressions. EMI generously matched that amount, bringing the total funds raised to an incredible $938,380.
