In partnership with TIME’S UP and Condé Nast, eBay auctioned the black dresses and tuxedos worn by various attendees at the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards to raise awareness and funds for the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund. Dresses worn by Meryl Streep, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, and tuxedos worn by Jude Law, Hugh Jackman, Neil Patrick Harris, were among the 40 pieces. Designers included Dior, Channel, Tom Ford, Armani, Ralph Lauren, Givenchy and more.
The auction garnered worldwide interest from both press and bidders. The Matchfire team was called in to manage the campaign from start to finish including photography, descriptions, professional packaging, bidder prequalification, customer service and fulfillment. The campaign raised $150,000 to support the launch of TIME’S UP.
